Error description

• Installation of IBM Spectrum Protect for Enterprise Resource
  Planning 7.1.3 may fail with the following error:
  Configuring the installer for this system's environment...
  No Java virtual machine could be found from your PATH
  environment variable.  You must install a VM prior to running
  this program.
  The installation package of IBM Spectrum Protect for Enterprise
  Resource Planning includes its own Java virtual machine.
  However, in some rare cases when this Java virtual machine is
  not correctly extracted the installer searches the $PATH for a
  Java virtual machine of version 1.5 or higher.
  If such a Java virtual machine cannot be found in the $PATH the
  installation fails.
  The failure for the Java to extract from the installer package
  has only been seen for AIX 6.1 TL 9

Local fix

• Add the path to an existing 1.5 or higher Java virtual machine
  to the system #PATH environment varaible and run the install
  again.
