Error description

  • SSH port forwarding is enabled on SFTP server (SSP)
We have found that SSH port forwarding is enabled on SFTP
server (SSP).

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • The SFTP adapter allows a port forwarding port to be opened,
although the port does not allow any traffic to use it.

Problem conclusion

  • Updated the session logic to block the remote port forwarding
requests.

Temporary fix

  • Sent Customer SSP3420 iFix 6+.
