APAR status

Error description

  • In some cases services are not picking up the inherited
document storage setting and are defaulting to the system
default.
The Compression Service is one service that can see this.

Local fix

  • STRRTC - 479385

Circumvention: Set document storage directly to the
type required and not to Inherited.

Problem summary

  • While the initial document picked up by the
File System adapter is set to file system storage, the
document created in the child process, which is set to inherited
storage is being created with database storage. That is not
expected.
