Error description

  • Build Number: 5020500

The instance has the documents directory on a mount. The
deployer runs for over 2 hours without completing. It shows as
reaching the dochmod phase of the deployer.xml file and just
stays there. Even though the documents directory has been
excluded, all of its snapshots are still scanned.

Local fix

  • STRRTC - 480826
NM / NM
Circumvention: While Sterling B2B Integrator is stopped,
unmount the documents directory, run deployer, then re-mount the
documents directory.

Problem summary

  • Deployer takes too long to complete when there are lots of files
under the documents directory.
