APAR status

Error description

  • MQ V8 Appliance VLAN cannot be configured via command
line.    Typing the "vlan name" command results in this
error:    # vlan name  Unknown command or macro (vlan name)

Local fix

  • Use the Manage Appliance part of the IBM MQ Appliance web UI to
configure VLAN interfaces on your IBM MQ Appliance

and to configure this functionality from the command line.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The VLAN command was incorrectly disabled in the IBM MQ
Appliance command line utility.

Problem conclusion

  • The VLAN command has been enabled in the IBM MQ Appliance
command line utility.
