Error description

  • SI: 5020500_5
    Database: Orcale 11g
    OS: Linux

    Problem Statement:
If you set up an AS2 relationship and choose "Store AS2
message in Mailbox," you can choose
an existing mailbox as the root directory. But if afterward
you try to configure a second relationship,
you can no longer choose the same mailbox as root mailbox, the
first relationship, the mailbox, is no longer listed.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
CANNOT CREATE TWO DIFFERENT AS2 RELATIONSHIPS USING THE SAME
    ROOT MAILBOX.

    PLATFORMS AFFECTED:
    ALL

Problem conclusion

  • RESOLUTION SUMMARY:
With this fix, you can create multiple relationships with the
same custom mailbox. This is controlled by a new property,
showAS2Mbx which is added to the ediint.properties.in file.

The default value of this property is true, which retains the
current behavior of not allowing multiple relationships to be
tied to the same mailbox or custom mailbox.
Setting this propery value to false allows the AS2 wizard for
relationship creation to show all the available custom maiboxes
in the drop-down, regardless whether a mailbox is being
used by another relationship or not.

In addition, mailboxes that begin with /AS2/ are no longer
    shown in the drop-down list.
