• The scan delay property setup on the node level or in
  configurable service for the FileInput node has no impact. The
  polling interval property itself takes precedence over the scan
  delay property in FTP. This is a regression introduced in IBM
  Integration Bus 9003.

Problem conclusion

• The product now polls at the interval specified as scan delay
  property if FileInput node is doing FTP.
