Error description

  • Environment Info:
SI Build Number: 5020500
OS: Windows

Problem Statement:
When an FTP Server adapter is configured to a Shared drive as
its Base directory, the customer is not able to rename/delete
both files and folder using Filezilla client. Expect that
deleting a empty folder works.

User Permissions:
- The Shared drive and the windows machine (that has SI) is in
a windows domain.
- The domain user is part of the Local admin group, where SI is
installed.
- The domain user has full permission to start SI services in
the windows machine, where SI is installed.
- The domain user has also full permission rights on the shared
drive.

To Reproduce this issue:
- Configure an FTP Server Adapter with Base Directory being a
Shared Drive.
-  Assign the user permissions as explained.
- Use an FTP Client (Filezilla is what the customer uses) to
test delete/rename a folder and file.

Note:
- Deleting a empty folder works.
- Although the customer environment is clustered, L2 tested
it without cluster and results are the same.

Observations:
We have tested this inhouse and the following seems not to work:
- Deleting a file
- Renaming a file
- Deleting a folder (with some content in it)
- Renaming a folder (with/without content)
