Error description

• Port number of VMware VirtualCenter or ESX server can be
  specified using VMCHOST by the following syntax:
  
  Syntax

  --hostname-+------------+-------------------------><
                          +:port_number+
  Parameters
  hostname
     Specifies the host name of the VMware VirtualCenter or ESX
     server that you want to backup, restore, or query.
  
  port_number
     Specifies the port number of the VMware VirtualCenter or ESX
     server.  If you do not set this value, the default port
     number is 443.
  
  Even though the correct port number is specified to VMCHOST,
  "backup vm" may fail with ANS1026E error if the user changed the
  default port number 443 to other value in VMware VirtualCenter
  server.

  change in VDDK 6.0 by VMware.
