Error description

  • Using the diagnostic command "show handles" from the CLI can
    result in unexpected behavior. In some cases this can lead to
    hung transactions or a restart of the appliance.
    

Local fix

  • Do not use the command "show handles".
    

Problem summary

  • Affected are all customers monitoring open file decriptors using
    the CLI commands "show handles" or "show task fds".
    
    Using the commands might cause various issues ranging from
    unexpected transaction termination to hanging transactions
    potentially resulting in a restart.
