APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • CLA2 service does not start with the following error:
Windows could not start IBM Sterling B2B Integrator
CmdLine2Adapter at port 10000 service on Local Computer.
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
Error in log:
CmdLine2RemoteImpl.loadKeystore: setting the keystore password
javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Given final block not
properly padded

The issue would be resolved with a fix that allows the install
process to fail when the install cannot remove a prior hotfix
jar,
properties or dynamicclasspath.cfg(.in) entries. It should not
continue if the removal of specific hotfix
jars did not succeed.

Local fix

Workaround:
Remove or comment out the specific hotfix jar entry causing the
issue from dynamicclasspath.cfg(.in) file.

Install did not properly remove an old hotfix jar from the
directory or classpath and this caused old code to run and
left the install with an outdated CLA2 keystore that should have
been updated.
