Error description
Version 5020401 When creating an SSH Remote Profile, the Remote User field will not accept special characters. It gives a pop-up error of "Remote User contains invalid characters. Please try again." if an attempt is made to put one in.
Local fix
STRRTC - 459576 NM / NM Circumvention: 1. Create an SSH Remote profile without the desired special character in the Remote User field. 2. Go to Deployment > Resource Manager > Import/Export. Select Export Resources. 3. At the Select Resources screen, click the check box for SSH Resources. 4. At the SSH resources screen, click the checkbox for SSH Remote Profiles. 5. Select the profile created and export it. 6. Modify the entry in the REMOTE_USER XML tag of the output file and save it, then use that file to import back in, making sure to select the overwrite option.
