APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If HealthCheck 1.0.1 is installed in Sterling B2B
Integrator, the
patch 5.2.5 will fail if the operating system is SunOS.

Local fix

  • Circumvention:
Remove HealthCheck parameters from sandbox.cfg
({$clump.var.prefix}) and re-run the patch.

Problem summary

  • Problem Description:
Customers who have installed the beta version of the HealthCheck
tool (version 1.0.1) may experience difficulty or even failure
when upgrading Sterling B2B Integrator V5.2.5.  The upgrade
includes an automatic installation of HealthCheck 1.0.2.

Customers who installed the beta version
of the HealthCheck tool (version 1.0.1).

Problem conclusion

  • Resolution Summary:
A method was added to perform a post-installation cleanup of all
malformed HealthCheck 1.0.1 property names and directories.

Temporary fix

  • Manually remove the 3 malformed properties from sandbox.cfg.
1) ${clump.var.prefix}_BUILD_NUMBER
2) ${clump.var.prefix}_PRODUCT_LABEL
3) ${clump.var.prefix}_LIC_PROD_VERSION
