IT07669: WARNINGS ABOUT WHITESPACE IN XML CAUSES BP TO ERROR WHEN THERE IS NO ERROR

Error description

• When the option in the Map Editor is selected to not strip
  whitespace within XML, a warning is generated by the
  translation engine for each occurrence of whitespace within the
  XML. If these warnings exceed the maximum warning count for the
  translation report, the service is marked as being in
  error, even if there was no error. This prevents successful
  workflow completion of processing of any document with large
  amounts of whitespace within XML tags.

  Problem Description:
  Extraneous whitespace characters for XML processing condition is
  written out as a warning to the translation report.  If the max
  entries limit is reached, a final entry is written to the
  report.  The bug is that if only warnings exist in the report,
  this final entry should likewise have a severity of "WARNING".
  Instead, the entry is always written out with a severity of
  "ERROR".  The error status is preventing "good" data from being
  processed in SPE using the translation service since the overall
  status of the service is marked as ERROR.

• Resolution Summary:
  Translator has been updated not to use an "ERROR"
  severity
  when the max entries limit is reached, and only warnings exist
  in the report. New error status has been added to write
  out an additional ERROR entry in the report if a translation
  error occurs after the "max entries reached" condition is
  written out as a warning.
