Error description

  • IBM PureApplication Systems users are reporting repeating
    events from Call Home for Error ID = 79501 : Failed to
    synchronize cluster time to NTP server.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • The Call Home function needed to be updated to aggregate events
    that had already been reported to existing problem tickets, and
    to be able to update an existing ticket even if it had recently
    been closed.
    

Problem conclusion

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System version
    2.1.0.0 interim fix 1.
