APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Inbound node was not in the Secure+ netmap, so an error was
issued; CSPA081E-Unable to initialize workspace.

SPADMIN has *LCLNODE Secure+=N and Override=Y, so there
should only have been a warning not a fatal error.

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
Customer installing C:D i5/OS who did not populate SPADMIN with
the correct remote node names
Problem Description:
Hard failure occurs instead of a warning message that the
remote entry is not found in SPADMIN.
Platforms Affected:

Problem conclusion

  • Resolution Summary:
Put in warning message if the PNODE did not ask for Secure+,
and the LOCAL entry is create with Secure+=N Override=Y in the
SNODE.

Temporary fix

  • Add the remote user to SPADMIN in the correct case coming from
the remote.
