APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Setting daysOld to a high enough number causes the number to be
read as a smaller number.

Local fix

  • Set daysOld to a small enough value that the issue does not
happen.  In this case we tested with 9999 daysOld which is a
very large number and predates the installation of Sterling
B2B Integrator but does not get read as a smaller number.

If a large value is used for daysOld in the mailbox delete
service, then a variable may overflow and mailbox messages much
younger than expected may be deleted.
