Error description

• WMQ FTE Database logger 7.0.4 running in WAS CE 2.1 is sending
  some messages to the reject queue without the property
  usr.WMQFTE_ReasonForRejection.
  
  An exception appears in the WAS CE error log like this:

  This issue affects all users of the WebSphere MQ File Transfer
  Edition 7.0.4 Database Logger to persist, to a database,
  information published as XML log messages to a topic concerning
  either:
  
    - A Managed Call operation
  
  or
  
    - A Managed Transfer operation that specifies a program to run
  either before a transfer starts, or after it finishes.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  AIX, HP-UX Itanium, Linux on Power, Linux on S390, Linux on x86,
  Linux on x86-64, Linux on zSeries, HP-UX PA-RISC, MultiPlatform,
  z/OS, Windows, Solaris x86-64, Solaris SPARC

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When retrieving a CALL REQUEST with certain REQUEST ID from the
  database, a null value will be assigned if the CALL REQUEST with
  that particular REQUEST ID is not found. If an attempt is made
  to retrieve CALL ID from this CALL REQUEST(which is null), it
  will result in NullPointerException.
  

Problem conclusion

• The WebSphere MQ File Transfer Edition Database Logger code has
  been updated such that an attempt to retrieve CALL ID from the
  CALL REQUEST is made only if the CALL REQUEST is not null when
  CALL REQUEST detail is read from database.
