Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users using IBM MQ XA client applications.

    Platforms affected:
    Windows

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A programming error in the MQ client code caused XA connections
to return incorrect type information when evaluating an internal
connection structure during closure of an XA connection. This
incorrect information resulted in the client code attempting to
    access an incorrect offset.

Problem conclusion

  • The IBM MQ native client libraries have been updated to address
    this incorrect logic during disconnection.
