Error description
The /data/config/SmtpSettings.ser file may have "null" values in it; this will cause the Data Server to not-start and report a NullPointerException in the Server.log file. Local fix
Delete the SmtpSettings.ser file from <TPC_INSTALL_DIRECTORY>/data/config directory then restart the data server.
