Error description

  • External users are prompted to login to Sterling File Gateway
again when their password doesn't meet the local password
policy.

The informational message doesn't suggest why the
login failed. It only requests the external user to
enter their login details again.

Local fix

  • Circumvention:
Disable custom password policy in the
customer_overrides file and restart the application.
