APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) Client AIX includes the followi
  ng prerequisite:
       xlsmp.rte fileset (1.8.0.0 or higher)
  as a part of its installation package.
  
  If this fileset is not already installed on the system at the ti
  me that the TSM Client is installed, the fileset will be install
  ed automatically by the TSM Client installation process. Install
  ing this old level of xlsmp.rte can cause the overall OS level o
  f the system to be "downgraded" and reported at an OS level lowe
  r than the system was at prior to the installation of the TSM Cl
  ient.
  
  L2/Customer Diagnostics:
  The system was running AIX 7.1 TL1 SP6 (aka 7100.01.06). This
  is the minimum level required by the TSM 7.1 Server.
  xlsmp.rte was not installed on the AIX system prior to
  installation of the TSM Client.
  The TSM Client was installed. xlsmp.rte was installed
  automatically as a part of the TSM Client installation process.
  The OS level now reported by AIX is 7100.00.10.
  In this scenario, the OS is no longer running at a level
  supported by the TSM Server.
  

Local fix

• Prior to installing the TSM BA Cleint, install the most recent x
  lsmp.rte version supported by the version of AIX used in the env
  ironment..
