IT03413: V7 INSTALLATION DOES NOT VALIDATE LIBNUMA LIBRARY REQUIREMENT ON LINUX PLATFORMS

Error description

• The V7 Tivoli Storage Manager server installer on Linux
  does not validate the prerequisite requirement for the
  libnuma.so.1 library.  The server can be installed successfully
  without this library, however, users will experience errors
  when attempting to start and use the server.
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  Without this library, DB2 can fail to start with the following
  error:
  
   $ db2start
   db2start: error while loading shared libraries: libnuma.so.1:
   cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
  
  The Tivoli Storage Manager server can fail to start with the
  following error:
  
   ANR0236E Fail to start the database manager due to an I/0
   error. Check for filesystem full conditions, file
   permissions, and operating system errors.

Local fix

• Install the missing libnuma.so.1 library.  This library is
  provided by the numactl RPM on RHEL and the libnuma1 RPM on
  SLES.
