IT03069: AS2 COMMUNICATIONS SHOW AS FAILED, THOUGH FILE IS DELIVERED.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When sending either large files or a high number of files to an
  AS2 trading partner's server, the server returns a 102 message
  with the text "Processing." Upon receipt of the 102 message,
  Sterling B2B
  Integrator immediately ends the HTTP Client POST Service
  and starts the HTTP Client End Session Service. That causes
  the session to be marked as a failure. The trading partner's
  server has received the file and is processing it at that
  point. Since a retry has been configured in case of failure,
  the trading partner receives copies until the maximum number of
  retries configured in the business process is reached.
  

Local fix

  Circumvention: If business needs allow it,
  switch from synchronous to
  asynchronous file transfer and change the
  setting in the Delivery Mode field of the AS2 partner setup to
  the applicable of Asynchronous HTTP or Asynchronous HTTPS. If
  business needs will not allow a switch to asynchronous file
  transfer, there is no workaround.
