APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• During a virtual machine backup the following error may be seen:
  ANS9365E VMware vStorage API error for virtual machine
  'MachineOne'.
     TSM function name : VixDiskLib_Cleanup
     TSM file          : vmvddksdk.cpp (1685)
     API return code   : 26
     API error message : Unable to connect to the host
  ANS9365E VMware vStorage API error for virtual machine
  'MachineOne'.
     TSM function name : VixDiskLib_Open
     TSM file          : vmvddksdk.cpp (1735)
     API return code   : 3014
     API error message : Insufficient permissions in the host
  operating system
  
  These errors occur during the clients internal processing to
  cleanup the virtual machines.
  The errors, in this specific case, are not caused by a
  permission's problem.
  L2 Diagnostics:
  VM trace will show the following trace point repeated up to 20
  times. The numRemainingP will always show '5'
  vmvddksdk.cpp (1688): vddksdkCleanup: numCleanedUpP '0',
  numRemainingP '5'

Problem conclusion

• The ba client will loop (up to 20 times) on the call to
  VixDiskLib_Cleanup trying to get the numRemaining down to zero.
  This was not needed and will be removed.
