APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In case where different processes require separate 'run' blocks
  in a RMAN script and RMAN is not exited in between, the Tivoli
  Storage Manager for Databases, Data Protection for Oracle may
  fail to load "/usr/lib/libApiTSM64.a " which might cause the
  RMAN script to fail with "SBT error = 7011, errno = 104,
  sbtopen: system error".
  
  The problem is due to a definition issue preventing the Tivoli
  Storage Manager (TSM) API client used by Tivoli Storage Manager
  for Databases from loading.
  
  The problem only occurs on AIX and with Oracle and it does not
  depends on version of AIX or Oracle.
  
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  
  The trace will report:
  dsmapid.cpp         ( 267): Calling dlopen()
  dsmapid.cpp         ( 290): ERROR: could not load the TSM API.
  errno = 8, dlerror() returned
  
  also seen:
  errno = 12, dlerror() returned
   This means there is not enough memory available now, but output
   from SVMON does not confirm a low memory condition.

Local fix

• Modify the Oracle backup script, so that RMAN is exited after
  each 'run' command block.
