Error description
The crux of the problem is that we don't support byteserving of PDF docs, which is sort of like streaming, to give you a flavor for what it means. Large PDF documents can take over a minute to load in the PDF Viewer without this support, while the first page comes up in less than 10 seconds (most times less than 5) with support for Byte Serving. There are two pieces of work required to address this issue: 1. Support direct retrieve in the eClient. (This isn't required for Accenture/C-IV or any other customer that has a custom app and uses diect retrieve already) 2. Support byteserving in the Resource Manager

Problem conclusion
The resource manager has been enhanced to support byte range support in the manner that the PDF Viewer expects. This allows the PDF viewer to access the table of contents and other information required to present the first page quickly, subsequent page viewing performance is also enhanced.
