Problem conclusion

  • Enhancement:
For z/OS V1R13, V2R1, V2R2 and V2R3 HCM, this APAR offers

1. Support for new partition type for the processor types 3906
and 3907.
1.1 The new partition type is called FW.
1.2 The new partition type is only supported by partition
number B in the highest channel subsystem of the processor.
1.3 The name of MCS firmware partition is required to be MCS_1.
