IO17813: NO TOUCH AT Z001 ON DUAL TOUCH AFTER MIGRATING V6R2

 

APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer reporting that after migrating to V6R2, the are not
able to renumber their dual touch systems.  The terminal will
display the pseudo keypad but at Z001 the terminal does not
recognize touch input.   Happening on multiple lanes in store.

Local fix

  • 



Problem summary


    

  • This problem was caused due an offset on  the window
that causes a bad handling of the touches in the pseudo
keyboard at Z001 message.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • We found a problem with some assumption about
the usage of pseudo keyboard data at z001. We just modified
the logic to address that case.
