APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • when customer logs into 2 servers from WEBi login page in
seprate IE7 browser tabs and views a document from the search
results of each server, Ie7 crashes when customer switches back
and forth between the two documents.  This does not happen if
the login to 2 servers is done in the same tab;

Local fix

  • use 1 browse tab with logging in to both servers from same tab;

Problem summary

  • If you open two instances of IBM WEBi in the same web browser
window but in different tabs, both instances of IBM WEBi use the
same viewer window.

Problem conclusion

  • Fixed in WEBi 1.0.4 Fix Pack 3. In IBM WEBi Version 1.0.4 Fix
Pack 3, each instance of IBM WEBi opens a separate viewer
window.
