Problem conclusion

  • This problem is fixed in DB2 Content Manager Version 8.3 Fix
Pack 12. When DB2 fence ID does not have permission to create
files in the %IBMCMROOT%/cmgmt/ls/icmnlsdb directory, the
    following error occurs:

ICM7090: Cannot write Script or SQL file with the Defferred
Generated DDL commands. Make sure the directory where the
scripts are created has the correct permissions. The library
server log file shows the name of the directory and additional
information that might have been captured.
    (STATE): [LS RC=7090, SQL RC=13]

Temporary fix

  • Change the ownership and permission for the
%IBMCMROOT%/cmgmt/ls/icmnlsdb directory to ensure that the DB2
fence ID can create files in this directory.
