Error description

  • ACAD printing to File does not create directories based on
Variables.

For example setting the %ItemID% variable for
the Output on the Output tab of the DM ACAD print configuration
screen

When the Print service runs it will error saying the output
directory does not exist.

ERROR: Output directory [D:\A1001001A09A13B65343B68438\] was not
found.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • When an output path that contained a variable was specified in a
Print/Plot configuration, print and plot services failed with
the message Output directory does not exist.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The fix is available in IBM DB2 Document Manager Version 8.3 Fix
Pack 11.
