Error description

  • CM8.4 is documenation is ambiguous regarding migration from
CM7.1. Documentation needs to clearly state you cannot migrate
dirctly from CM7.1 to CM8.4. Customers are required to migrate
from CM7.1 to CM8.3 and the customer needs to follow the steps
in the CM8.3 documentation. Once the environment is at the
appropriate CM8.3 fix level a customer can then upgrade to
CM8.4.

CM8.4 is not supported. Migration from CM7 to CM8.3 is
documented in the v8.3 migration guide.
