Problem summary

  • A B003 CHECK KEY SEQUENCE guidance occurs and the order cannot
be completed if all of the following are true - a coupon is
targeted to a customer number, the current balance due is
$0.00, the PC card is entered and TOTAL is pressed immediately
after the card.

Selling additional items allows the order to complete.

Problem conclusion

  • IR52566 failed to consider the unusual case where items were
sold when the card is entered, but the current balance due is
zero.
