Error description

  • WEBi overrides user restrictions defined for a View-Only user in
OnDemand. User privilege checking is not consistent with OD
thick client. OD view only user can use the Send/Print
functions in WEBi and it needs to be corrected.

Local fix

  • N/A

Problem summary

  • IBM WEBi does not prevent Content Manager OnDemand users with
view-only privileges from sending documents or links to document
by e-mail or downloading document properties from the Web
    client.

Problem conclusion

  • When a Content Manager OnDemand user has view-only privileges
and uses IBM WEBi, the user can only view a document. The user
must have view and copy privileges to send e-mail or download
document properties from IBM WEBi. This behavior is consistent
with the Content Manager OnDemand Windows Client.

Temporary fix
