IO07516: DOCUMENT LIFECYCLE - VERSION HISTORY TAB. NO COLUMNS ARE DISPLAYED IF THE VIEWS DISPLAY NAME IS DIFFERENT THAN THE OBJECT

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Document Lifecycle  - Version History tab
  If view name in the upper right hand corner is the Display name
  for the view, then only the Version column is displayed.
  If the view name in the upper right hand corner is the same as
  the view object name the all the correct columns are displayed.
  
  Steps to reproduce.
  In Designed modify an existing view.
  In the Display Name field enter a value that is different than
  the name of the view.
  Run Cache
  Log into the DM Desktop
  Select an Item in DM and then view the Document Lifecycle.
  Click on the Version History tab
  In the upper right corner select the view modified earlier.
  The only column displayed is Version.
  

Local fix

• Change the views display name to match the object name.
  

Problem summary

• If the view that was selected on the Version History page of an
  Item Life Cycle Map had a display name that was different from
  its real name, the view is not used.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix is available in DB2 Document Manager v8.3 Fix Pack 7
  and v8.4.
