Error description

  • When using the VESA driver model types 4846-545 and 4846-565
cannot support vertical refresh rates of anything other than
60Hz.

Problem summary


    

  • Typically video chips accept a range of vertical refresh
frequencies, e.g., 43-72 Hz.  The 4846 family only works with a
vertical refresh value of 60 Hz.  ibmxsetup has been changed to
set this value for these POS systems to the fixed value of 60
Hz.
