Error description

  • LDAP user exit adds "cn=users" into the full DN and it may
prevent the user id getting authenticated with LDAP server

For example,

In the UE.LOG file, the full DN is as follows,

DIRECT user is CN=Simmons\,
Kristen,OU=Admins,OU=Corporate,cn=users,DC=ad,DC=abc,DC=net


The correct DN is,

CN=Simmons\,
Kristen,OU=Admins,OU=Corporate,DC=ad,DC=ewsad,DC=net

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • During authentication for AD, we sometimes add cn=users when
"creating" a DN,
this sometime make some user log on failed, even though it is
easy for workaround,
it is better to get rid of this in code.
