APAR status

Error description

  • With certain TIFF images, the Java Viewer code renders the image
in reverse video or completely black.

"Reverse video" means that the background and text or the colors
are reversed so that the appearance is that of a negative of
what is supposed to be displayed.

Local fix

  • Be aware of the reverse video effect.

Problem summary

  • The problem is fixed in CM83 FP5.

Problem conclusion

  • Tif document will display correctly with black text on white
background.
