Error description

  • When comparing two CICS resources from "CSD Resource List" view
in CICS Explorer, the compare function does not show any
information.  If comparing the same CICS resources using Search
Results view it works.

Problem summary


    

  • When two CSD Groups in the CSD Resource Groups view are
selected and compared, only a comparison of the attributes of
the CSD Group are shown rather than a full comparison that
includes the members of the group.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • When two CSD Groups in the CSD Resource Groups view are
selected and compared, a full comparison including the members
of the group is now displayed.

This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.16 of the CICS
Configuration Manager plug-in for CICS Explorer.
