  • mmfsck hitting Sig 11 issue

Problem summary


    

  • mmfsck crashes with signal 11 when the file system is in
maintenance mode and a node failure occurs during fsck startup.
The crash occurs because the file system pointer (fsP) remains
NULL, leading to a segmentation fault when fsck attempts to
access it.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The code has been fixed to ensure that the file system object
(fsP) is properly initialized in runFsck() when the file system
is in maintenance mode, preventing the crash.
