IJ53192: 2610-611 ERROR DISRUPTS RMC CLIENT CONNNECTION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A rare error was introduced in RSCT 3.3.3.0, which could
  result in a connection break when any RMCAPI client
  attempts to communicate with RMC.
  
  This can happen with any RMCAPI client, either command
  line or one of the Resource Manager (RM) subsystems,
  although in the field it has only been seen so far
  in some of the RM's.
  
   ** On an SAMP cluster, this has caused errors for the
      RecoveryRM subsystem trying to bring a resource
      offline.
   ** On an HMC, this has caused errors with ServiceRM
      attempting to process "call home" operations.
  
  If this error occurs, the client side will see the
  following error message:
   | 2610-611 The command group has been sent, but the
   | session was interrupted before all responses could
   | be received.
  (In the RM this will be found in the binary traces.)
  
  At the same time, in the RMC traces, the following
  error will be seen as an "_MCD" trace:
   | The client connection is closed due to incorrect
   | message (54397).
