Error description
If you have a recent install of Maximo, you should have an EVERYONE Security Group. If you go into the Security Groups application, bring up the EVERYONE Group, click on the Applications tab, search for the "Work Order Tracking" application, and search for "Crew field" option in the bottom table, you will see that it has the "Condition" column set to "BMXCREWID". If you then find another Security Group that doesn't have access to the "Crew field" option for "Work Order Tracking" and you check the "Grant Access?" checkbox, you will see "BMXCREWID" appear in the "Condition" column. (It may take a few seconds for it to appear.) Maximo instances that were upgraded from Maximo Versions earlier than Maximo 7.1 (?) may have a MAXEVERYONE Security Group instead of an EVERYONE Security Group. If you repeat the above with a MAXEVERYONE Security Group, the default will not appear for the other Security Groups when "Grant Access?" is checked. Additionally, if users have changed the "Group for All Users" option on the "Security Controls" dialog in the "Security Groups" or "Users" application, they may have deleted the EVERYONE Security Group or not be using it. PERFORMANCE ISSUE: No STEPS TO REPRODUCE: 1- If you go into the Security Groups application, bring up the EVERYONE Group, click on the Applications tab, search for the "Work Order Tracking" application, and search for "Crew field" option in the bottom table, you will see that it has the "Condition" column set to "BMXCREWID". 2- If you then find another Security Group that doesn't have access to the "Crew field" option for "Work Order Tracking" and you check the "Grant Access?" checkbox, you will see "BMXCREWID" appear in the "Condition" column. (It may take a few seconds for it to appear.) CURRENT ERRONEOUS RESULT: Default ConditionNum for ApplicationAuth Only Works With EVERYONE Security Group EXPECTED RESULT: Default ConditionNum for ApplicationAuth should Work for all Security Group ENVIRONMENT (SYSTEM INFO): Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.3-IFIX20221222-1327 Build 20220823-0909 DB Build V7613-344 HFDB Build HF7613-46
