Error description
Problem description: When a user runs a query on an application to view data, Maximo automatically appends the Security Group Restrictions, the Global Data Restrictions and the App Settings to the SQL query in the background. If a user then clicks the download button to save the results as Excel, these restrictions are appended again - so they are duplicated. This causes considerable load on the database and may lead to a timeout. If a timeout occurs, the user will receive an Excel file as a download, but it will not contain all the data from the selection. Steps to reproduce: Go to Security Groups application and open MAXADMIN. Go to Sites tab, uncheck "Authorize Group for All Sites?". Add BEDFORD and MCLEAN sites. Go to More Actions > Global Data Restrictions. In Object Restrictions, add a new row. Object: WORKORDER. Type: QUALIFIED. "Reevaluate?" checked. From "Condition" field, go to "Conditional Expression Manager" application. Add a new row. Condition: WOPRIORITY. Type: EXPRESSION. Expression: wopriority > 1 Save and use return with value to populate the Condition field with "WOPRIORITY". Click OK to close the Global Data Restritions dialog. Go to Logging application. Change "sql" log level to INFO. Go to More Actions > Apply Settings. Go to Users application and create a new User. In Groups tab, keep only EVERYONE and MAXADMIN groups. Log out and log back in with the user created in previous step. Go to Work Order Tracking application. Hit enter to bring all records. Observe the query generated in the logs (there is duplicated data restriction in query) From the result list, click the Download button. Once again, observe the query generated in the logs (there is duplicated data restriction in query) Current results: The query is generated twice in the logs Expected results: The query should get generated only once. Environment: Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2
