APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If the C-SPOC function to change/show the characteristics
of a file system is used to set the mount options to
include "log=NULL", then the C-SPOC display of that
filesystem will not function correctly.

Local fix

  • The change actually is processed correctly; it is only
the
display function that is in error.  The error can be
ignored without loss of function.

Problem summary

  • If a filesystem is configured with the mount options include
"log=NULL", then odmerror is displayed in PowerHA C-SPOC
SMIT change/show characterictics of a file.

Problem conclusion

  • Code change is done in clshowfs utility to correctly process the
"log=NULL" mount option from the filesystems details.
