Error description

  • Problem description:
    
    After installing Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.2
    interim fix 037, or Tivoli's process automation engine 7.6.1.3
    interim fix 013, a 500 error is shown when downloading an
    attachment with parentheses  ()  in the filename:
    
    "The server has encountered an unknown error. Reload the
    application and try again. If the problem persists, contact your
    system administrator. "
    
    Steps to reproduce:
    
    Make sure Secured attachments is enabled in System Properties:
    securedAttachments = true
    
    - Create a new Work Order: 1386
    - Add an attachment with parentheses ( ) in its filename, and
    save the record
    - Click on View attachments and click to download the file
    
    Current Result: 500 Internal server error is displayed: The
    server has encountered an unknown error. Reload the application
    and try again. If the problem persists, contact your system
    administrator.
    
    
    Expected results: The download of the attachment with
    parentheses ( ) should work.
    
    Tested without any parentheses ()  and it works.
    Tested with brackets [] and it works.
    
    Disable secure attachments and it works with any accepted
    characters in the attachment's filename.
