Problem summary

  • Windows Logon handles created by calls to
LsaConnectUntrusted(LogonHandle) in NativeCreds.dll are not
being released when no longer needed using an associated call to
LsaDeregisterLogonProcess(LogonHandle) which results in high
memory usage.

Problem conclusion

  • Modified acquireDefaultNativeCreds() in NativeCreds.c to call
LsaDeregisterLogonProcess(LogonHandle) on exit to free
LogonHandle resources.
The files affected are: ibmjgssfw.jar, ibmjgssprovider.jar (Java
8: build_20230719--53, ), and NativeCreds.dll (32/64 bit) (Java
8: 7/21/2023).
