Error description

• Problem Description:
  
  Oracle agent cannot retrieve the Oracle database instance name
  when the oracle databse is OFFLINE/INACTIVE.As a result when
  situation is configured to monitor inactive databases and EIF
  slot is configured where we want instance name in custom slot
  message, instance name is shown as empty.
  
  Problem Analysis:
  
  After reproducing and analyzing the issue in our environment, we
  discovered that agent cannot populate instance name on APM UI
  when database is offline , because it requires database
  connection to do so. Hence, instance is coming as empty in
  configuted custom slot message of EIF slot.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Test fix delivered to customer. Fix will be included in next
  release.
