IJ46377: ASSET ATTRIBUTE WITH DATE DATATYPE IS NOT ALLOWING SAVE AND SHOWING WRONG ERROR MESSAGE

Error description

• Description:
  Asset Attribute with Date Datatype is not allowing save and
  showing wrong error message
  
  STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
  
  1. Login to Maximo as maxadmin
  
  2. Go to Classfications --> Create a new Classification
  (CLASSTEST)
  Use with: SR object
  
  3. Attributes section --> Choose an Attribute with Datatype DATE
  
  I have selected an Attribute called DATE which has a datatype of
  DATE
  
  4. Save the classfication
  
  5. Go to Ticket Template application --> Create a new Ticket
  Template (1012)
  Class: SR
  
  6. Go to Specifications tab and associate Classification
  CLASSTEST to this record
  
  7. Set DATE attribute as Mandatory (THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP to
  reproduce the error)
  
  8. Save the record and change status Active
  
  9. Go to Service Requests Applications --> Create a new SR
  (1191)
  Summary: Test
  
  10. More Actions --> Apply Service Request Template (1011)
  
  11. Save the record
  
  RESULT:
  Error:
  BMXAA0191E - Field Table Value for attribute DATE is required.
  Please enter a value.
  
  EXPECTED RESULT:
  The SR record should be saved without any error.
