APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Problem Description:
    The issue occurs when "Enable Repair Facilities" option is
    selected and there are duplicate Asset numbers in different
    Sites.
    
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    
    1. Go to Organizations application.
    
    2. Bring up EAGLENA Organization.
    
    3. From More Actions menu, select Work Order Options > Other
    Organization Options.
    
    4. In Other Organization Options dialog, select "Enable Repair
    Facilities?" option and click OK.
    
    5. Go to Profile > Default Information, and set Default Insert
    Site to BEDFORD.
    
    6. Go to Assets application.
    
    7. Create a new Asset record as the following and change its
    Status to Operating:
    Asset: ASSETX
    Description: BEDFORD Asset
    Location: EAST
    
    8. Go to Profile > Default Information, and set Default Insert
    Site to MCLEAN.
    
    9. Go to Assets application.
    
    10. Create a new Asset record as the following and change its
    Status to Operating:
    Asset: ASSETX
    Description: MCLEAN Asset
    Location: OFF-5-12
    
    11. Go to WO Tracking application.
    
    12. Create a new WO against ASSETX from MCLEAN Site.
    
    13. Save the WO.
    
    14. Hover over the Information icon in the Asset field.
    
    RESULTS:
    Asset Details dialog displays the information on the Asset from
    BEDFORD Site. This is the issue.
    
    EXPECTED RESULTS:
    Asset Details dialog should display the information on the Asset
    from MCLEAN Site instead.
